DLA Summer Day Camp

For the past 16 years, DebateOn Leadership Academy (formerly BC Forensic League) has been a proud member organization of the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA), helping students develop valuable lifelong skills in debate, public speaking, leadership, and confidence.

This summer, DLA is excited to launch a brand-new Summer Day Camp for students in Grades 1 to 6 (based on September 2026 grade level placement).

This engaging program combines educational enrichment with plenty of fun. Students will explore a variety of subjects, including Science, STEM, Arts, Debate, and Public Speaking, while participating in exciting indoor and outdoor activities led by experienced instructors.

The goal of the camp is to create a positive and memorable summer experience where students can have fun, build friendships, and continue learning in a supportive environment.

• $295/Week + Material Fee

• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM [Free play & Pick-up available any time between 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM]
  

DLA Debate Camp

Are you ready to elevate persuasive speaking and critical thinking skills to the next level? Join our exciting Summer Debate Camp and discover the power of debate, public speaking, and effective communication.

For the past 16 years, DebateOn Leadership Academy (formerly BC Forensic League) has been a National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) member organization, helping students build confidence, master argumentation, and develop essential communication skills that last a lifetime.

Designed for students from Grades 3 to 12, this Summer Debate Camp offers an engaging and comprehensive debate experience. Students are grouped by age and experience level to ensure personalized instruction and a supportive learning environment.

Camp Highlights

“Experienced debaters” will strengthen their foundation, build confidence, and refine their public speaking abilities. “New debaters” will receive an excellent introduction to debate and gain essential knowledge for future success.

Camp Schedule

• Session 1: July 6 – July 24
  
• Session 2: August 3 – August 21
  
• Classes held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  

Both sessions cover the same content. Families may choose the session that best fits their summer schedule.

Class Times

• Starters: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM (27 total hours)
  
• Intro Juniors, Juniors, and Seniors: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (36 total hours)
