Marc Yoon

Ever since 2012, Marc has been a student/coach at DebateOn Academy. With over 10 years of experience both as a student and a coach, Marc has participated in over 40 different debate tournaments throughout his career, winning dozens of awards at high-profile debate tournaments and participating in the U.S National Debate tournament four times. As a recent graduate of UC Berkeley with a major in political science, Marc is able to utilize his extensive knowledge in international relations and political theory to provide students with a detail-oriented and thorough explanation for both entry-level and advanced topics. With over 6 years of experience working with students grade 1-12, he can combine his technical expertise as a debater with his extensive teaching experience, fostering a lively and intellectually stimulating classroom for all his students, no matter their age and skill level. Other than debate, Marc has also participated in numerous Model UN and Mock Trial competitions, representing both the academy as well as the South Korean national team in major competitions such as the U.S National tournament for Mock Trial.
